The basis of Ayurveda

TheAbhyanga is part of the i>Panchakarma<, or the five actions of purification of the individual, according to the Indian tradition. Its effect is excellent; a deep relaxation and total regeneration. It includes various maneuvers and the full body oiling with hot oils specific: Abhyanga in fact means "dispersion of oil". Since the Abhyanga is not a well-known process in the West, in this video the basic techniquesare covered.

Content of the video course of massage Abhyanga

The DVDs of Corpo Mente Spirito are built with logic interactivity; to allow the student to view and analyze each technique in its singularity. Each position with a number (all techniques are also listed on the leaflet attached to the package) and every time it is performed, even during treatment complete, it is displayed in the corner of the screen. In this way it is possible to carry out a selective study and targeted to the technique you most want to deepen. The subtitle function was also used to indicate the name of each technique. The shooting are made so to highlight the most significant aspects of the movement to be learned/deepened.

1. PRESENTATION OF THE AYURVEDA
   Introduction by the author, Luca Language, Ayurveda operator and Purvakarma expert.
2. TABLE PRESENTATION DRHONI
   This section provides all the basics of the Abhyangamassage: the traditional table Dhroni, the position of the hands and the movement of the body, the oils used, the specific technique (20 positions for 7 times), etc.
3. START OF TREATMENT
   According to tradition, at the beginning of the treatment of Abhyanga basic massage some operations must be carried out. Although this does not happen here in the West for climatic and constitutional reasons, it is explained in this chapter. It is then up to the student to assess whether or not to carry them out.
4. THE 20 POSITIONS
   Here are exposed, one by one, all 20 working positions, seen from different angles, and where present with different positioning in the receiver.
5. COMPLETE TREATMENT
   The complete treatment of Abhyanga is schematic. In this video the sequence is displayed at an average speed. Speed and pressure must follow the evaluation of Dosha (the constitution) of the receiver, which is done first following some basics, but especially with a lot of work experience. The massage here is always customized, despite the despite the schematicity.

   The Abhyanga treatment can also be performed with 4 hands. In this case the 2 operators work synchronized. In this section of the videocorso it is displayed with 2 operators.

8. POSITIONING VARIANTS
   In case of physical difficulties, the receiver can be positioned in a more comfortable way. This section shows all the positioning variants for this purpose.
