Cathegory: Ayurveda - Video tutorials
Abhyanga is a part of the Traditional Indian Medicine and it comprehends several techniques with different goals for every Dosha (the personal constitution): Vata, Pitta and Kapha. It produces a sensation of deep relaxation and total regeneration.
This technique is based on different maneuvers and the use of specific hot oils: the word “Abhyanga” actually means “oil spillage”. In this video tutorial we'll learn the basic techniques.
This massage can be done on the floor or on the Dhroni table, both with hands (also with more than one practitioner at one time) and with feet for a heavier treatment.
Abhyanga is part of Panchakarma, the five actions to purify the individual, following the Indian tradition.
