The Pinda Sveda is the Ayurveda technique of body heating with bags of herbs and warm powders, the Pinda precisely, which have the effect of bringing heat to the body or parts of it with the purpose of making sweat, and then purify, an unhealthy organism. This practice is called svedana, and can be used both for the maintenance of the health of the individual, and for the treatment of certain ailments.

Content of the video course of Pinda Sveda

DVDs of Corpo Mente Spirito are built with a logic interactivity to allow the student to view and analyze each technique in its singularity. Each is marked by a number and every time it is performed, even during treatment, it is displayed in the corner of the screen. In this way it is possible to carry out a selective study and targeted to the technique you most want to deepen. The subtitle function was also used to indicate the name of each technique. The shooting are made so to highlight the most significant aspects of the movement to be learned/deepened.
We chose non to accompany the images with the comment spoken because we believe that they are explanatory.

1. INTRODUCTION TO SVEDANA
   Introduction by the author, Luca Language, Ayurveda operator and Purvakarma expert.
2. PINDA PRESENTATION
   In this section the master shows the technique of making bags (pinda or khizhi).
3. BASIC TECHNIQUES
   The Pinda Sveda technique should be made with 2 hands and with 2 pinda, but in some cases you can use even one. In this section you will see all the basic techniques (tapping, long clutch, transverse rubbing, etc.) both with 2 hands and with one hand. In the complete massage, only the technique with both pindas will be used.
4. SPECIFIC TECHNIQUES (EKANGA)
   Ekanga is a term that is used in Ayurveda to indicate treatment on a specific part of the body. If you are in the presence of a specific disorder, such as rheumatic pain in the knee, you will be treated specifically this joint. In this section, the technique is taught to treat all areas of the body that may present some specific problem, including the abdomen.
   Added a special technique to be performed with pomelloni in marble and suitable for the treatment of cellulite.
5. COMPLETE TREATMENT
   This video shows the full treatment with pinda. Speed and pressure, however, must follow the evaluation of the Dosha (the constitution) of the receiver, which is done first following some basic notions, but above all with a lot of work experience. Massage should always be customized.
6. TRADITIONAL 4-HANDED TREATMENT
   The treatment with pindas, like all ayurvedic massages, in the tradition is always performed with 4 hands. Although it will be difficult to achieve it here in the West, for economic, climatic (cold) and physical constitution reasons (you will see that the position that the patient must maintain is not the most comfortable), this video shows the work of 2 synchronized operators.
